Calling
The gods cannot walk among mortals, and whether any truly understand their will is another matter. Acolytes devote themselves regardless: keeping ancient rites, interpreting unknowable mysteries, and serving as vessels through which their will—and wrath—are made manifest.
Your key virtue is either Might or Wits.
Your base endurance is 10.
As an acolyte, you start with the following features.
When you take up the acolyte calling, you gain 4 skill points which you can freely invest into the following skills: Alchemy, Charms, Command, Letters, Nature, and Perception, or any other skill you already have.
You gain additional skill points each level after 1st. Every even level, you gain 2 skill points, which you can only use to advance two different skills you already have. At every odd level, you instead gain 1 skill point, which you can use to advance a skill you already have or learn an entirely new skill. Only your initial skill points are restricted to the list above.
You are rewarded by the triumphs of your cause.
Once per round, when a companion rolls a triumph, you gain 1 focus.
Similarly, once per round when a foe rolls a failure, you gain 1 focus.
When you first enter this calling, you learn an extra great deed. Its focus cost is permanently reduced by 1.
You learn the Revelation special deed, whose effects are determined by your masteries.

Masteries improve upon your initial features. You gain masteries at 1st, 4th, and 8th level.

When a foe within your spell range rolls a pair, you may take a reaction ⤾ to taint that pair, causing it to incur shadows rather than sparks. Once you do so, you can't do so again until you use a revelation effect.
Revelation: Censor - The target takes a cut on their next deed until the end of their next turn.
You contemplate the meanings mortality.
When a creature restores vigor you can take a reaction ⤾ to raise or lower the amount of restored vigor by your key virtue.
Revelation: Deliverance - A companion within spell range can make a recovery.
Your faith rewards you with hazy visions of the future.
Each time you gain 1 or more glory, roll an equal number of fate dice d6 and note their results. When a creature within sight makes a check, you may take a reaction ⤾ to spend one or more of these fate dice results to replace any die in their pool with it. You lose all results at the end of a day's rest.
Revelation: Foretell - Choose an action the target must take first at the start of their next turn. If they don't, they take damage equal to Ω + your key virtue. They are free to perform the foretold action in whatever way is most advantageous to them.
Your own suffering means little when another is in need.
When a companion within spell range is about to take damage, you may take a reaction ⤾ to spend spend a recovery. They regain vigor equal to your recovery rate before taking the damage.
Revelation: Sanctuary - Choose yourself or a companion within spell range. Deeds against that creature take a cut until the end of the round.
Your zeal is channeled through your armaments. When you succeed on a melee deed, you can spend a spark to use a revelation effect you have.
Revelation: Fury - Break all obstacles, fields, and terrain in burst 1 centered on you or the target.
Talents are the new capabilities you acquire as you advance in level. You gain a talent when you first create your character and then again at every odd level.
1 | Your revelation special deed gains blast 3. You still only apply your revelation effects to one of the targets, but you can spend sparks to deliver the same effect to an additional target.
You can counter ⤾ foes within your spell range. When you do so, deal Ω damage, adding Ω for each extra shadow they incur.
1 | Choose an ally within spell range. Their next harmful deed deals extra Ω to one target.
When you sacrifice ⤾, the companion can immediately prevail against one of their states.
When a foe in your spell range is defeated, you and a companion of your choice each gain 1 focus.
1 | When you use your mortality ⤾ reaction, the creature gains your choice of either protected 2 or exposed 2.
Increase your speed by 1 and your endurance by 2.
Choose two skills from Command, Charms, and Rhetorics. You gain an extra spark on successful checks you make using those skills.
When a companion within 4 takes damage from a deed, you gain a surge. This effect can only trigger once per companion per round.
When you sacrifice ⤾, you can choose to take half the incoming damage in their stead. When you do so, you and the damage companion both gain a surge.
You gaze into the heavens in search of divine will. As a camp activity, roll a fate dice and note its result.
When you impose a cut using your revelation, an ally within spell range gains an edge on their next deed.
1 | Take this action after you fully prevail against a state with an opposite, such as strong or exposed. Instead of removing it, change the state to its opposite, keeping the potency the same.
You gain an edge on tenacity checks. When you succeed on one, a companion within 4 gains 2 focus.
When you first create your character, you learn two deeds. Then every even level thereafter you learn another deed of your choice.
For now, you can only learn great deeds. Beginning at 4th level, you can also choose to lean mythic deeds.
Your devotion manifests as an otherworldly radiance.
✖ Base Gain brilliance 2. While affected, you shine light in the area and companions that enter or start their turn in the area gain a surge.
⬖ Glance Gain brilliance 4 instead.
✦ Hit Gain brilliance 4 instead.
By grace, the broken are made whole.
