Treasure can be represented by simple piles, sacks, or chests full of coin, but it can also take the form of precious stones, objects wrought from valuable metal, fine articles of clothing, exquisite works of art, or other valuables that could be exchanged for currency. Whatever form it takes, treasure always has significant material value and little practical use in the profession of adventuring.
The True Value of Treasure
While the party is adventuring, treasure has no function but to take up space. Upon the returning to the haven, the party can deposit their accumulated riches to gain Glory equal to the total value, divided evenly between them.
If they bring hirelings on an expedition, those characters might demand a share of the treasure at this time. Shares given to hirelings are lost.
Unless otherwise stated, a piece of treasure takes up one inventory slot. Some treasures are considered tiny items and can share the same slot in your inventory.
